Terms of Service

1. Who this is for

LoreKind is for parents and legal guardians, 18 or older, creating an account to generate stories for young readers in their care. By creating an account you confirm you meet that description.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Young reader profiles you create are private to your account, viewable only by you.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans (Family, Family+) renew automatically each month at the price shown at checkout, billed through Razorpay, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account's subscription page — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. We don't offer partial refunds for unused time in a billing period unless required by law.

Prices can change; we'll give you notice before a price change takes effect on your next renewal.

4. AI-generated content

Stories and illustrations are generated by AI (Anthropic's Claude for text, OpenAI for images) based on the inputs you provide. We design prompts to keep content warm and age-appropriate, but AI output isn't guaranteed to be perfect every time — if a story misses the mark, you can rewrite it or edit the text directly before reading it to your young reader. Read a story yourself before sharing it if you have any doubt.

5. Your content, your ownership

The stories generated for your young readers are yours to keep, print, or share personally, for as long as your account exists. We don't claim ownership over the stories you generate, and we don't use your specific stories to train AI models.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use LoreKind to generate content that's unlawful, harassing, or intended for anyone other than a young reader in your own care. Don't attempt to access another account's data or interfere with the service's normal operation.

7. Cancellation & account deletion

You can cancel your subscription or delete your entire account (including all young reader profiles, stories, and illustrations) at any time from your dashboard. Account deletion is permanent and can't be undone.

8. No warranty, limitation of liability

LoreKind is provided as-is. We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free AI output. To the extent permitted by law, LoreKind isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
